- 24 hours notice is required for grooming cancellations/rescheduling so we can fill your appointment. If less than 24 hours then a Cancellation Fee will be payable before we can book you another appointment.
- No-show of an appointments will incur a No-show fee and is payable before another appointment can be booked for you
- As we run by appointment only please ensure you are on time ( We don't mind if you are early!). We may be unable to take pets that arrive more than 15 minutes late to appointments, we need to run on time for all clients – the no-show fee may apply.
- We reserve the right to turn away clients that are over 15 minutes late for their appointment.
- Please toilet your dog before bringing, a long walk is best (before appointment time please)
- Grooming prices are subject to variables. For example, the coat condition may not be as good as it was described over the phone. Or maybe the dog is having a bad day and its temperament makes it hard to groom, or maybe the dog has grown from being a puppy and now takes longer to groom. If asked before the groom, we will always provide you with a quote. If something arises as we are doing the groom (such as the dog has fleas or the dog isn't coping as well as usual) we will contact you via phone to inform you of the price change and have your consent to continue the groom.
- Matted Coats. We have a non de-matting policy, attempting to brush out heavy matting would lead to a great deal of discomfort for a dog. Instead we will at all times advise clipping to remove the matted and damaged coat. If your pet has become matted, we require your permission to clip before we begin the groom. When pets are heavily matted, this is not included in the price of our grooms. There will be an extra charge according to the severity of the matting. The cost contributes towards our extra time and the wear caused to our grooming tools.
- Flea Policy – Any dog found to have fleas will go straight into a flea-bath with special shampoo to remove the fleas. You will be advised to treat your pet and your home environment to eradicate the problem.
- Alterations. If, after the groom is complete, there is anything about the groom that you would like altered, please advise your groomer accordingly before you leave the salon. We are never offended by timely requests to make minor changes, so please ask.
